Our Lady of Peace Retirement Community is hosting a Fish Fry Fundraiser on Friday, September 25, from 5:30–7:00 PM, with all proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. A $10 per plate suggested donation includes fried fish, mac & cheese, green beans, cole slaw, cornbread, fresh fruit, and brownies. The evening will feature great food, raffles, and prizes, and anyone who wears purple will receive one free raffle ticket. 99.7 CYK will be broadcasting live on location, and guests can build an action plan for brain-healthy habits with Brooke Gill from the Alzheimer’s Association. The event will be held at Our Lady of Peace Retirement Community, 751 Hillsdale Drive, Charlottesville.
